act of kindness

So today I took the bus and traveled up to Sauteurs (a town at the top most north part of the island). It is actually the location of my "safe house". In case there is a natural disaster, or something along those lines, I can just jump on a bus and travel for an hour and then get off and walk like 20 min and then I'll be safe... something like that.
So, my trip was fine and dandy and everything and I was on the bus back to Gouyave (my town). This little kid sat next to me. In front of us a woman dropped a dollar (here it's a coin) so the kid and I both tried to look for it but the bus is small and you can't really move much so we couldn't find it. When we stopped next, the woman got off and when the door opened the kid started looking again and I saw it b/c the light from the open door caught it. I pointed it out to the boy thinking he was going to keep it (free dollar!!!!) But he picked it up, yelled after the lady and gave it back to her. It was so neat to see that kind of honesty. Fun little Friday story.
Oh, and my gosh it's hot here.
